About the speaker
Dr. Amjad Qoursheh is a Jordanian academic with interests in comparative religion and Christian-Muslim relations. He was awarded his doctorate from the University of Birmingham in 2003, following which he returned to Jordan to his alma mater to lecture in comparative religion, Islamic faith and culture and Quranic recitation. Dr. Qoursheh is currently Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, University of Jordan. Fluent in both Arabic and English, Dr. Qoursheh has traveled extensively and attended conferences and workshops on spirituality and religion, spirituality and education, Christianity and Islam and comparative religion. He has also extensive teaching experience having taught Islamic education at high school level. Dr. Qoursheh resides in Amman, Jordan with his wife and three daughters.

阿穆傑德．古薩 博士 是約旦學者，致力於宗教比較和基督徙與穆斯林關係的研究. 於2003年他在英國伯明翰大學獲取博士資格, 隨後他回國於母校任教比較宗教, 伊斯蘭信仰與文化和古蘭經頌讀. 古薩 博士現於約旦大學伊斯蘭科學系任職助理教授. 精通阿拉伯文及英文.古薩 博士遊歷豐富,常常出席國內外有關宗教, 教育,基督徙與穆斯林關係和比較宗教的研討會和工作坊. 古薩 博士是位資深的伊斯蘭教育學者曾多年任教高中程度的伊斯蘭教育, 現與太太及3名女兒定居於約旦安曼.
